NorthStar Academies are non-traditional charter high schools for Florida students ages 15–21 living in Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, Osceola, or Broward County. Parents, we know your child’s success is your top priority. At NorthStar Academies, you’ll find caring teachers, safe school environments, Career and Technical Education programs, and flexible schedules that help your teen thrive.
Blended Learning Model
You’ll benefit from flexible schedule options. Choose between a morning or an afternoon session, complete coursework digitally at your own pace, and work directly with your teachers in small-group settings.

Schedules That Fit You: Life is busy — we get it. That’s why our blended learning model lets you choose which session — morning or afternoon — works best for you. Plus, we provide free breakfast, lunch, and bus passes.
CTE Programs: Every school offers Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs to provide you with real-world skills and practical knowledge within your selected career focus. Choose from programs like nail technician, barbering, gaming, and nursing assistant. Program offerings vary by school.
Safe, Supportive Campuses: Everybody knows everybody at NorthStar Academies! With small group instruction, you’ll be known by name and have a voice in your learning environment. Plus, Academic Advisors track student progress toward graduation, including all required state testing. We do all testing in house, including the SAT and ACT.
Accredited: All of our schools are accredited! That means your diploma will be recognized by colleges, universities, employers, and even the U.S. military — giving you real options for your future.

Florida students ages 15–21
To enroll at NorthStar Academies, you must be between the ages of 15 and 21 and live in Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, Osceola, or Broward County, Florida.
